Artur M Puga navigates the friction between structure and collapse, crafting soundworks that shift from precision to distortion without losing intent. Originally trained as a visual artist, his practice fuses the architectural with the unstable, blending club mutations, abstract textures, and rhythmic disfiguration. Based in Berlin, Artur builds sonic environments that refuse fixed identities, moving restlessly across genres while maintaining a tactile sense of presence. His process is shaped by fragmented attention, overstimulation, and a refusal to settle, each piece born from the overload of contemporary input, where clarity emerges not in spite of distraction, but through it. His performances and releases propose music not as a container, but as a dynamic system, alive, volatile, and always on the verge of breaking form, held together by the same friction that makes it worth listening in the first place.
Throughout his career he has released several albums with labels Eternal Recordings and Arkestra under his own name, appeared in several compilation, done soundtrack scoring for films & live performers and sound design for A/V installations. He performed and exhibited his work in places such as Society of Arts and Technology Montreal, Korea National University of Arts, WOS Festival, HKCR (with his own show as resident DJ), NTS Radio, IFSV Tokyo, La Casa Encendida Madrid, Café OTO, Radio Primavera Sound and Noods Radio to name a few. He currently runs Berlin’s experimental club nights “Sad Prompt Engineering” which he also cofounded.
